Vashi Ticket Counter
As you pass by the shoe shine boys (locally called boot polish walas), to the left are the ticket counters for local train single and return journey tickets, and also monthly and quarterly season tickets.
The waiting is probably worse here because the train stations rarely have many ticket windows open. They try to force people to buy tickets from vending machines, but the machines are often broken. Sometimes the most difficult part of a journey is purchasing the ticket.
Thank you for your valuable views. Your criticism, appreciation and suggestions are welcome to an amateur photographer who loves her city. MDS is now active as a daily photoblog.
