The complex where I live has many beautiful plants and flowers like this one. I do not know the names of any of them. There are a few more. Can fellow bloggers and readers identify and give me the common name or botanical name?
Thanks to my fellow bloggers, I know that the name is Mussaenda erythrophylla.
I can't tell you what they are but I do love the soft pink color.
ReplyDeleteThe colors are nice. I am not able to be certain as to what they are but they look almost like a bleeding heart. I have not seen them this pink before and I am not able to see if the flower is heart shaped.
ReplyDeleteNice photo.
Baby raccoons. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

It's Mussaenda erythrophylla. I have five color forms of Mussaenda in my garden. Is the color correct in your pocture? It seems to be a lighter pink then I have ever seen. I have an album of Mussaenda on my garden site. Copy and paste this address to see my plants

Mussaenda erythrophylla
"Bougainvillea" is the biological name....the funny part is that in Marathi it is called "Bougan Vel"....i think they just adapted it and made the name easier :D
