Click on image to view full size
Diwali vacation is over, and schools have re-opened. This weekend, Krrish and I spent all day completing his vacation homework which was some alphabet writing, and identifying some alphabets and sticking pictures of things beginning with the respective alphabets.
We made this scrapbook for the alphabets and the pictures and decorated it.

After School
Seeing these kids returning home from school reminded me of my school days.
I and my sister would look forward to eating ragda pattice outside school, at a hawker's cart. The 2 rupees mom gave us everyday was meant for snacks from the school canteen, but we used to eat out of one rupee in the canteen, and then eat imli(tamarind) and ragda pattice after school. This was our big secret that we would never tell mom.
What does 'After School' remind you of? Did you head home straight after school?

July Monthly Theme: 'NO ....' SIGN
The July theme day is to post a picture of a sign in your town that includes the text "NO"
Two such signs are put up outside Ryan International School in Sanpada.
The montessori, primary and secondary sections have different timings betweeen 7.30 am to 4 pm, and the school buses are seen plying to and fro, bringing kids and transporting them back home.
Also, there is a crowd of parents bringing kids to school and then take their kids home.
Parking here results in traffic jams.
