Shanidev Worship

This shrine on the right when you enter the temple is of Shani Dev. Shani Dev is one of the most popular deities that Hindus pray to ward off evil and rremove obstacles. Here, the deity is represented as a block of stone.

Nandi (bull)

Nandi is the bull which Shiva rides and the gatekeeper of Shiva in Hindu mythology. Like this one, a statue of Nandi facing the main shrine is seen in most Shive temples. Nandi is worshipped before proceeding to the shrine to worship Lord Shiva.

Flower Stall

This stall is inside the temple, a little further from the entrance. You can buy the plate of flowers, including tulsi and bel leaves. Also, black gram in oil (available at the flower stall) is offered to Shani Dev and Shri Hanuman on Saturday to appease them.
