Traffic Jam

This is a common sight in Mumbai. This is traffic jam at Chembur, on the way to Dadar from Navi Mumbai. Earlier, this was considered normal during rush hours (office hours usually from 8 am to 10.30 am and from 5 pm to 8 pm). But this photo was taken at 3.30 pm.

Automobile sales have gone up in the already overpopulated city and we have to face the consequences.

  1. When I see so many people on streets, bus and metro in the middle of a day, sometimes I really wonder what these people do, thinking lots of people should be at office.:)

  2. We have already done enough harm to the environment…High time we woke up to see the damage we’ve caused.
We may not be able to reduce global warming, end pollution and save endangered species single-handedly, but by choosing to live an earth-friendly lifestyle we can do a lot every day to help achieve those goals.
