A View Of Mankhurd Railway Station From The Highway
Mankhurd railway station lies on the Harbour line of Central Railway and is the last station in the city before entering Navi Mumbai, which is a satellite twin of Mumbai and the largest planned new city in the world.
After Mankhurd, trains cross the Vashi Bridge before entering Navi Mumbai.
The area around Mankhurd is dirty due to the presence of a large number of slums. The surrounding region near the creek is covered by acres of mangrove swamps.
