Mangal Murti

An image bringing auspiciousness is Mangal Murti. Here, it refers to Lord Ganesha (Ganpati) who is worshipped during the Ganesh Chaturthi festival.
Just when I was about to take a photo of the popular sweet shop 'D.Damodar' in Dadar from the bus, this goods vehicle passed by. The sweet shop is right there, behind it. I'll show it some other time.

  1. Is this written in Hindi? I have read that Mumbaikars speak a blend of languages called HUG ME - Hindi, Urdu, Gujurati, Maharashtri and English. (Forgive me if I have misspelled any of these.)

My wife and I have had the privilege of visiting several parts of India but not Mumbai. We will see it some day.
